I’m kar winters.

A Cork based Photographer and Cinematographer specialising in fashion, product, hospitality, film and event work. I collaborate with brands, agencies and individuals who value clarity, consistency and a defined visual standard.

I work across photography and motion, creating imagery that align with the identity and purpose of each project. The approach is grounded in preparation, calm direction and a clear understanding of how the work will be used once delivered.

Each project is shaped from the outset, from lighting and composition to pacing and coverage, with the aim of producing a body of work that feels cohesive, intentional and consistent from start to finish.

My Approach

Work begins with a clear understanding of what needs to be produced and how it will be used.

This includes defining the type of coverage required, the level of control needed on set, and how the final images or video will sit within a wider campaign, event, or brand output.

Decisions around lighting, composition and structure are made early so the shoot has direction from the outset. This reduces unnecessary adjustments later and keeps the work consistent across the full set of deliverables.

During production, the focus is on execution. Maintaining control where needed, adapting where required, and keeping the visual standard consistent throughout. This is especially important in environments where timing shifts or conditions change. The result is work that is coherent across its full delivery.

Initial Enquiry

A short conversation to define the scope, timeline and intended use of the work. This helps establish what needs to be produced and how it will be approached.

Planning

Preparation of visual direction, references and practical details such as location, schedule and required setup. This stage ensures the shoot is organised and aligned before production begins.

Production

The shoot is carried out in a controlled and efficient way, with attention to timing, lighting and consistency. Direction is kept clear and minimal to maintain a steady workflow and a strong visual standard.

Delivery

Final images or videos are processed and delivered in formats suited to their intended use. Turnaround times are agreed in advance, with a focus on consistency and accuracy in the final output.
